This is a pretty old sketch that I decided to finish up. I don't even want to talk about how long it took.
...Okay, maybe a little. I knew I wanted the cape to be solid flowers, but the stained glass window idea didn't occur to me until I got tired of drawing flowers and said, hey, why can't I just create a repeating pattern? And of course angles lend themselves best to such things so I hand-drew a pattern of six flowers and copy/pasted my eyes out. Same for the roses in the background, basically -- I created patterns of three big roses and three little roses, and just smooshed 'em all together.
And for the record, the size at which it's posted is only one-third of the actual working size.
But despite the tedium, I'm pleased with it. Feels like a looong time since I just sat down and inked a sketch. Good times!

Ser Loras, House Tyrell, the series A Song of Ice and Fire, and all other affiliated stuff all belong to George R.R. Martin, the author.
Ser Loras was never a favourite of mine. He seems a bit too hot eager for death for a 16 year old. I mean, if Ser Gregor killed him in the tourney (Game of Thrones) then how many teen suicide attempts would have resulted? O.o
i paired it with its companion piece, flower child.
Just kidding. There's no such thing.
