I freaking love this movie. It was a part of my childhood, watched countless times with my little sister, and many of the lines, the timing and cadence of them, have stuck with me all these years. It had been a long time since I'd seen it, but last weekend it came on TV and I couldn't resist. What a trip! And oh man, when the radio started talking I got really still, and leaned forward listening, and then threw my arms up in the air and squealed, "JON LOVITZ!!" And it totally is. It was a weird and cool connection between my past and present.

My internet was dead yesterday and so I had no reference for this, so excuse details about Kirby or the Radio that I might have messed up. I'm not sure why I drew them without their faces...but I really like it this way. So there.

[EDIT] On Leigh's advice, I added the Toaster's arm (can't believe I forgot that!) and made the highlights on his surface crisper.

The Brave Little Toaster and all characters within belong to Disney, which really needs to make more movies like this. (And I'm NOT talking about the sequels, which I steadfastly pretend do not exist.)
